Winter Sessions

Soccer, Dance, Science Fun, Arts Fun, Explorers

All students aged 6 and over can join athletic and creative programs in a friendly environment with experienced francophone coaches and teachers. 
These programs each last 1.75 hours. They are an ideal opportunity for children to put their knowledge of French into practice and to naturally absorb new words and expressions into their vocabulary, all in a fun setting different from the traditional academic class environment.
Between French classes and the Programs, children are supervised by our staff during lunch time. We also provide transportation by bus for the soccer program. This service is intended to facilitate logistics for families and to maximize children's exposure to the French language.

The Winter Session start around Thanksgiving and end around mid-March. For more details, please see the dates here.

The dates are designed so that students who have other activities in the Fall and the Spring can still benefit from the opportunity to participate in an activity they like in a full immersion environment.

Options for Winter Sessions 2023-2024

SOCCER
Through fun activities and a large variety of exercises, you will learn the rules of the game. The training sessions are held entirely in French by licensed and francophone coaches and are designed to make students progress and to enhance their ability to naturally function in French.

DANCE
The different activities in the class will train children in the concepts of movement sequencing, patterning and spatial relationships. The program also aim to promote self-esteem and positive body image. Through the school-year, students will experiment with different kinds of dance styles.

SCIENCE FUN
This rotation of science projects and subjects will will teach students how to program and create objects and articulated robots. For example, it will introduce students to electronics and how to move things by controlling an engine. A great way to learn interesting skills in a fun environment.

ARTS FUN
This rotation of arts projects and approaches will teach students how to use different techniques to create art and artistic objects. It will introduce students to classic and modern ways to be an artist. A great way to become a skilled artist in a fun environment.
