Regular Soccer Practice in French
In order to support our students in their efforts to master the French language and to provide a well-rounded francophone environment that is meaningful for young French speakers, we are also offering soccer classes.
The sports classes take place on Saturdays, with a choice between the morning class (from 11:20am to 12:50pm) and the afternoon class (from 1:20pm to 2.50pm), in Bethesda, on the days that the Saturday classes are in session, including during the winter.
The training sessions are held entirely in French by licensed and francophone coaches and are designed to make students progress in their respective sport and to enhance their ability to naturally function in French.

Participate to the Saturday Schools Soccer League
Our soccer team, the MFC Griffons, participates in the Saturday Schools Soccer League.
The other teams in this league are the Foxes (German Saturday School), the Dragons (Japanese Saturday School), the Toca Juniors (Argentinean Saturday School) and the Lions (Dutch Saturday School).
Format:
- 3 league match days in the Spring
- Finals match day to determine the champions
- Boys and girls mixed
- All games for all take place at the same time at the same place (on different fields) in Betheda, Md.
- All siblings play at the same time.
