Winter Sessions

Soccer, Dance, LEGO Robotics

All children aged 6 and over can join athletic and creative programs in a friendly environment with experienced francophone coaches and teachers. 
These programs each last 1.5 hours. They are an ideal opportunity for children to put their knowledge of French into practice, in a setting different from traditional academic courses.
Between French classes and the Programs, children are supervised by our staff during lunch time. We also provide transportation by bus for the soccer program. This service is intended to facilitate logistics for families and to maximize children's exposure to the French language.

Winter session calendar: December 2, 2023 to March 16, 2024 (13 sessions),

The sports classes take place on Saturdays, with a choice between the morning class (from 11:20am to 12:50pm) and the afternoon class (from 1:45pm to 3.15pm), in Bethesda, on the days that the Saturday classes are in session.

Options for winter sessions 2023-2024

SOCCER
Through fun activities and a large variety of exercises, you will learn the rules of the game. The training sessions are held entirely in French by licensed and francophone coaches and are designed to make students progress and to enhance their ability to naturally function in French.

DANCE
The different activities in the class will train children in the concepts of movement sequencing, patterning and spatial relationships. The program also aim to promote self-esteem and positive body image. Through the school-year, students will experiment with different kinds of dance styles.

LEGO ROBOTICS
For students 8 to 12 years old, this workshop will teach you how to program and create objects and articulated robots. It will introduce you to electronics allowing you to move and control an engine. A great way to learn new skills in a fun environment.
